Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is the best site to enjoy the breathtaking view around it. It is a very simple, but a really famous rope bridge in Country Antrim, Northern Ireland. The bridge is the way to the tiny island of Carrickarede. The bridge is like a classic silhouette. It spans 20 meters and about 30 meters above the rocks. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge was firstly constructed about 350 years ago. Today’s construction is the last done in 2008, and it has undergone many renovations. It is suspected that the salmon fisherman who firstly thought about this bridge. It was reconstructed in 1970 with only one handrail and large gaps between the slats. The next renovation is in 2000, it is tested up to ten tones. 2004 reconstruction is better, it offers safer passage to the island for visitors and fishermen. Today’s wire rope was start using in 2008.
